This Saturday, Jordan took his first step test towards his second degree black belt. It is the first of three tests he must take to keep his skills sharp and to progress towards his second degree. It is a minimum of two years to move through these tests. A big commitment, but well worth the effort. Once you have obtained a second degree, you have many teaching opportunities open to you. Since there are tae kwon do studios just about everywhere, Jordan could have a good paying job at just about any college town he would choose to go to. What a great way to make a penny: work out, keep your skills sharp, and doing the sport you love!
(As a side note: those of you who know her, Michelle Carranza was testing to Jordan's left with Tori Villa at the far left. All three did well on their test. They were all highly focused and performed their forms with strength and intensity. All passed and can move on the next step in their Tae Kwon Do careers.)
