Election Day

Here we are on election day, Nov. 4, 2008. After all the hours of vounteering, praying, and fasting for prop. 8, we will see how it all turns out. Allen and I are helping with the last push for prop. 8 today from 12-4. We are going to be runners to go to homes of people who said they would be voting yes and put a reminder notice to vote on their doors. We are hoping to get all our yes votes out there to the polls today to ensure that we have indeed done all that we can to help protect marriage! Whatever the outcome, I know that there are many of us in Simi Valley and across the state that have united our efforts and stood up for our beliefs. For many of us, including me, it is our first time really getting out there and making a stand. Marriage is a sacred union, and preserving traditional marriage was worth every ounce of effort. We will be anxiously waiting to see which way the polls will go!

Karalee, Good job. A great effort on your part. Those of us in Utah appreciate those, like you, who helped it pass. Judy
