Bathroom with a view!

You will be so jealous of our new view from our master bathroom. We can see everything from there!
Oh, the joys of home ownership! About 7 years ago, we put in new windows and decided to pay a little extra to have our home sandblasted and stuccoed with tinted stucco, so we would never have to paint it again. Well, we were correct in not having to paint it, who knew we would continue to have water issues and have to tear it out completely.
The window installers blamed the stucco crew and the stucco crew blamed the window installers and for years the problem went undiagnosed. Well the last few years, we have had increased rainfall and the problem got bad enough, it was time for drastic measures. We had hopes that one of the two prior blamings might be right, but we were a lucky minority that had a problem with the paper that is under the stucco. It was bad enough that we had to tear it all down and redo it.
This redo has allowed us to fix a few small things that we have been wanting to do, but once again we are stuck paying loads of money into our house and we won't have much difference in the overall look of our house once it is done. ( Changes include burying some wiring into the wall so we can exclude some piping that was running the length of the house, enlarging our master bedroom window since that was the only window we had put a retrofit window in, changing the laundry room door, adding a doggy door, and putting new vents in.)

Yowza what a big job! I hate living in construction! We have to redo our master bath that we already redid 3 years ago and I'm afraid there will be some water damage too, I feel your pain!
