Christmas Town

Our last day in Williamsburg was bitter sweet. We once again enjoyed a slow morning, knowing that the rest of our trip was going to be constant running. Allen and I headed down to Colonial Williamsburg to enjoy strolling the streets and shopping without the kids, while the kids stayed back at the Williamsburg Plantation and enjoyed playing their D.S. games and watching T.V.

We didn't find the item we were searching for at Williamsburg, but we did enjoy the fabulous hot chocolate, one last time and enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere in that beautiful town.

Christmas town at Busch gardens was our last scheduled trip while in Williamsburg. They opened at 3p.m. for an evening of lights, Christmas sounds and a few rides. It was a fun way to start the Christmas season!
I had decided to sign us up for the dine with Santa show where we had dinner while Santa recited twas the night before Christmas. This didn't turn out to be as worth while as I thought it would be, but I did have fun torturing my kids by making them go meet Santa to tell him what they want for Christmas. Jordan and Kelsey were pretty horrified by this (*evil grin and laugh*)! All things were made right again when Mrs. Clause came around with cookies for everyone and desert was served at the buffet.

While onstage, the kids were greeted by a very cute elf who talked with them while waiting for Santa to finish up with the people before them. She then introduced the kids to Santa. One of our favorite memories of Christmas town came when Santa said to Jordan, "your name is Clark, right?" Jordan corrected him, then Santa went on to call him Clark anyway. We have had a lot of fun with his new nick name!
