It's hard to believe that my baby boy is already 16! The time has passed so quickly!
For Jordan's birthday, he decided he wanted to go see the last Harry Potter movie that was in the theater. He hadn't been able to go the week before for opening night, since he was at EFY.
His friends all met at our home for Chinese food, then we took them to the movies. While they were at the movies, Kelsey and I finished decorating Jordan's cake and afterwards they came back for cake, ice cream and a game. It was a fun evening with great friends!
Since Jordan hasn't started working on getting his licence (he has to finish his eagle first), and getting a car
was out of the question, we decided to get him a computer. It seems that more homework assignments are being assigned that need the use of the computer and he and Kelsey were constantly at the computer when the other one needed a turn. It was fun to see his surprise and joy when he received his gift!
Jordan also received a 5x5 Rubik's cube that he has since figured out how to solve. OH to have the brain of that child!
I am so lucky to have such a righteous young man as my oldest! He is such a good example to his younger siblings! It is wonderful to see him maturing and gaining independence.
