Disneyland

After a day at California Adventure, it was time to head back to the Happiest Place on Earth for another fun Disney day. It truly does become the Happiest Place when we go with friends. Jordan is so happy to be able to go on all his favorite rides and is the loveliest friend to Madison! It is the cutest thing ever to see how he is with her. He loves having her look up to him. When he is around, she runs up and grabs his hand and enjoys the attentions he gives to her. It is great to have these pleasant, sweet moments from my teenage boy.
The other good thing about going with a big group is that somehow we are able to get our hands on more fastpasses. We go our separate ways for a while and meet up with new fastpasses in hand and we are able to share them and go on more rides that way. The one benefit of Kelsey and Jayden refusing to go on any fun rides is that we always have extra fast passes to share with our friends.

(This photo was taken while all our friends were on Splash Mountain, enjoying our fast passes that we were NOT going to use. At least I got some cute pictures of the kids and had an exciting run on the Winnie the Pooh ride!)
Kelsey did finally show some bravery this trip and decided to go on Indian Jones for the first time! She did totally fine on the ride and didn't panic at all. She loved it and I hope this will be the start of her deciding that she can try more new rides next time!!! (This all came after she panicked about going on Pirates of the Caribbean. She freaked out about the drops and I had to force her to go on the ride. She got so worked up about it that she had Jayden freaked out about riding it. Luckily, after going on the ride, and Kelsey kept waiting for the huge drop that never came, she was able to see that she had really overblown the ride in her mind and that she can remember that for next time. She felt a little silly once she realized how worked up she had been about nothing!)

Jayden lost another tooth while at Disneyland. I came out of Space mountain to him showing me a very loose tooth. It is a tooth on the bottom that I didn't even know was loose. I wish it was his other front tooth, though, because it is so loose that it is weird looking. It has moved into the center since he lost the other tooth and just needs to come out! Anyway, within minutes of me learning the tooth was even loose, he wiggled it right out.

It was another fun, tiring day at Disneyland and we were so glad that we could share the day with great company. Hopefully the Hill and Thornock families will come out again for another exciting day soon!
(p.s. I cheated and changed my post dates to the days we actually went to Disney to make it easier for me later to have the exact dates listed. I am playing catch up on my blog postings)
