Cotillion

I got some fun pictures of Kelsey, Catherine Carranza, and Amelia Greenall at Cotillion on Friday. After learning more steps to the Tango and the Lindy Hop, the girls played the tennis ball game. (The instructor, Mrs. Tucker, always provides a game where the winners get a candy bar.) This tennis ball game was the most entertaining game so far for those of us watching the class!

The girls had to balance a tennis ball between their forehead and their partner's. Paula and I began laughing before the competition even started because Amelia was so much taller than her partner. You can't really tell from the pictures because Amelia is leaning so far down, but she was a head taller than her partner. They got a practice round to get used to the game, then the official game started. Kelsey and her partner did great during the practice round, but Amelia and her partner lasted the longest during the competition round. Unfortunately it was not quite long enough to win a candy bar.
